Lake County, Michigan Groomed ORV and Snowmobile Trails!
Ready, Set, Ride! In Lake County, Michigan, ATVs can ride on most county roads at 25 mph. ORV enthusiasts will love exploring over 230 miles of groomed trails. Snowmobiles can access over 300 miles of trails right from our resort. For the ultimate experience, familiarize yourself with local laws: Lights on when riding county roads, forestry roads are open to ORVs, ride on the right side of paved roads, and get the required trail permits ($36.25). Pick up a Lake County trail map for $3.00 each, which lists common infractions. Be gentle with the dirt roads, and let's preserve county road access for ORVs.

If you're looking for a place that's off the beaten path, look no further than the Oak Grove Tavern. This family-friendly joint is like stepping back in time, complete with an old country band every Tuesday night and $2.50 Coney dogs that'll make your mouth water. And, if you're feeling competitive, head on over for some Euchre with the retirees on Monday nights - just don't be late! The Oak Grove Tavern also throws one heck of a Halloween party, complete with a Mayor of Halloween - yes, that's a real thing! I'm a big fan of the tiny town of Irons, and Lake County, Michigan, is a great place to visit if you hate waiting at stop lights.
